    Description

    Private Joe Jones is an eighth grade student at Jennings Avenue Junior High School. He is a First Class Private (Pvt.) in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC). He is shown dressed in training uniform and carrying his books and a sack lunch as he walks to school. Joe with his fellow cadets was the subject of official discussion Wednesday morning. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 14, 1940.
