Description
F. W. Sternenberg, of Austin, Texas, is president of the Lumbermen's Association of Texas. He is in Fort Worth, Texas to confer with the local convention committee on program details. The annual convention will be held here on April 9-11. This will be the organization's fifty-fourth annual meeting. Sternenberg expects 1,200 to attend. With the expansion of construction and the low cost of housing fields, the lumber industry is finding success. Texas has 12,500,000 acres of commercial timber which is cut on a selective basis. New trees are planted every year. Mr. Sternenberg is dressed in a three piece suit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 2, 1940.
