Twenty-eight young women, representing a cross-section of Fort Worth, Texas, are serving on an advisory board for United Service Organization (U. S. O.) soldier dances. Ten of them are shown here. They are, left to right, on the back row, Martha Rowland, Shirley Ginsburg, Gwenneth Douglass, Norma Mays, and Sue Hazen; front row, Mazie Belew, Virginia Stogner, Deborah Von Zuben, Nonalee Ellis, and Rosemary Willeford. Miss Rowland is wearing a dress with buttons down the bodice. Miss Ginsburg is wearing a blouse and a blazer. Miss Douglass is wearing a floral print dress. Miss Mays is wearing a collared shirt and a blazer. Miss Hazen is wearing a striped dress. Miss Belew is wearing a blouse, blazer and skirt. Miss Stogner is wearing a dark-colored dress and a necklace. Miss Von Zuben is wearing a blazer and a skirt. Miss Ellis is wearing a dress with off-center buttons down the bodice. Miss Willeford is wearing a blazer with two butterfly brooches pinned to it and a skirt.
