The 1941 XIT Rodeo and Reunion is being held in Dalhart, Texas. In attendance, left to right, are Mrs. Charles E. Coombes Junior and J. Frank Dobie. Mrs. Coombes, a resident of Dalhart, is greeting reunion guests. She is wearing a bonnet and a floral dress. Mr. Dobie is her former professor at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. He is an authority on all things relating to ranch history and customs. Mr. Dobie is dressed in a suit.
