Description
The 1941 XIT Rodeo and Reunion is being held in Dalhart, Texas. The top float in the parade belongs to the Girl Scouts. The six girls riding on the float represent different periods of history, labeled as "Scout," "Colonial Girl," "Pioneer Girl," "XIT Cowgirl," and the modern 1941 scout. The Girl Scout float won first prize at the parade. Automobiles are parked along the side of the road.
