Sponsors of the Hardin-Simmons University's Cowboy Band pose in a baggage car of the "George Jordan" special train with the six white horses they will ride in parades at the International Lions Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana. The sponsors are, left to right, Marijohn Melson, Inez Sandefer, Ruth Evelyn Foote, June Frost, Gloria Sadler and Jo Ann Curry. Miss Melson is wearing a plaid print blouse, dark-colored trousers and a cowboy hat. Miss Sandefer is wearing a blouse, trousers, a belt, a cowboy hat and has a bandanna tied around her neck. Miss Foote is wearing a light-colored, long-sleeve blouse, light-colored trousers, a cowboy hat and has a bandanna tied around her neck. Miss Frost is wearing a satin blouse, trousers, a belt, a cowboy hat and cowboy boots and has a bandanna tied around her neck. Miss Sadler and Miss Curry are sitting atop the border separating the horses from the sponsors. They are both wearing satin blouses, trousers, cowboy hats and have bandannas tied around their necks. Miss Curry is wearing light-colored cowboy boots.
