Description

Three hundred girls who went to model in the semiannual style show of the National Fashion Exhibitors, Incorporated, opening at Hotel Texas, jammed the Hotel Texas mezzanine as officials made selections. A group of these young women are peering through a window. They are, top row, left to right, Miss Monte Lou Welch, 17, Miss Elizabeth Harvey, 18, Miss Maureen Briant, 16, and Miss Ruth Vannoy, 19; bottom row, left to right, Miss Wanda Morris, 18, Miss Marjorie Ann Monaghan, 16, Miss Edith Milliken, 19, and Miss Eleanor Harth, 21. An unidentified woman is standing at the far left on the bottom row. Approximately 125 new models will work alongside 75 who have served in previous shows. Miss Morris is wearing a dress with buttons down the bodice, a belt and a cross necklace. Miss Milliken is wearing a lace blouse and a sunhat. Miss Harth is wearing a floral print dress.
