Description
Hicks Field cadets spent a weekend afternoon dancing at the Elks Club. They were hosted by ten women, four of whom are shown here: (left to right) Misses Frances Arthur, Cynthia Brants, Betty Ficke and Becky Campsey. The tea dance was attended by about 100 people. The hostesses are shown standing on a balcony. Miss Arthur is wearing a dress with a pleated skirt. Miss Brants is wearing a dress with a striped belt with stars at the waist. Miss Ficke is wearing a floral print dress and a pearl necklace. Miss Campsey is wearing a dress with buttons down the bodice and a belt at the waist.
