Description
The Sixth Annual XIT Rodeo and Reunion is being held in Dalhart, Texas. The lively event draws large crowds, often doubling the town's population. In attendance, left to right, are W. O. Culbertson, James D. Hamlin, and Bob Beverly. The men are sitting at a table, enjoying the chuck wagon supper. Mr. Culbertson is a Dalhart ranch hand. He is dressed in a striped shirt and a necktie. Mr. Hamlin, of Farwell, Texas, is the XIT Association president. He is wearing a suit. Mr. Beverly, of Lovington, New Mexico, formerly worked on the XIT Ranch. He is wearing a dress shirt and a necktie.
