Description
The Sixth Annual XIT Rodeo and Reunion is being held in Dalhart, Texas. The lively event draws large crowds, often doubling the town's population. Some of the visitors in the spotlight, left to right, are Hugh H. Williams and Mrs. Hobart Barnes. Mr. Williams, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly ranched in the Dalhart area. He is dressed in a cowboy hat, button-up shirt, paisley necktie, and trousers. Mrs. Hobart Barnes is a Dalhart native. She entertained guests at the chuck wagon supper. She is wearing a dress with a sunflower pattern, belted at the waist.
