Description

The observance of the Fourth of July in Fort Worth, Texas, is a mixture of patriotic affairs and recreation. The Harrison family are one of the many enjoying an Independence Day picnic at Forest Park. Pictured left to right are Pattie Sue Harrison, Mrs. Claude Harrison, Ann Harrison, Evelyn Harrison, Billie Jo Patrick and Mr. Claude Harrison. Pattie Sue is wearing a polka-dot dress. Mrs. Harrison is wearing a dress with a floral pattern. Ann is taking a bite from a chicken leg. She is wearing a dress with frill sleeves. Evelyn is dressed in a button-up blouse and trousers. Billie Jo is a friend of the family. She is wearing a long-sleeve blouse and a skirt. Mr. Harrison is dress in a collared shirt and trousers.
