Residents 150 miles around Possum Kingdom Dam, were well represented at the dam dedication, July 2nd. Among the 2,000 attendees are , left to right, Bonnie Sue Chestnut, 8, daughter of Mrs. E. P. Chestnut; Mrs. W. G. Christie, and her daughter, Imogene Christie, 6, all from Stephenville, Texas. They are seated and wearing sunbonnets to protect themselves from the bright, hot sunlight. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 3, 1941.
