The Polytechnic Girls' Community Center is open for girls in the area to work and play. The center is sponsored by the Optimisses. Ten year old Gloria Hadley is shown seated on a chair in the library. She is pasting pictures in her scrapbook. Gloria is wearing a bow in her hair, a striped dress and a sweater. There are other girls standing in the background. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 10, 1940.
