Description
Mrs. Annie Rutlader came to the United States in 1931 from Poland. She is proudly displaying her citizenship papers after becoming one of the latest members of the Americanization School to receive the prized certificate. Mrs. Rutlader is standing in front of a chalkboard wearing a hat, blouse, vest, and skirt. The Americanization School is sponsored by the Council of Jewish Women of which Mrs. I. E. Horwitz is president. Classes are conducted three times weekly at the Hebrew Institute to Congregation Ahavath Sholom. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 7, 1940.
