Description

In addition to the Victorian Valentines that are regaining popularity, are the standard Valentines with puns and wisecracks. Pictured are copies of two standard Valentines. The one on the left features a girl stepping on a heart with the caption, "You're a sweet little headache". The card on the right shows a woman crouching at the top of a staircase and a man walking down. The caption reads, "Look Out! It's Leap Year!" Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 7, 1940.
