Description

A. R. Fox (left) passenger traffic representative of the Missouri-Pacific Lines, sold most of the tickets to the Fort Worth delegation which left Friday for Washington for the hearing on the Trinity River improvement program before the Board of Engineers for Rivers and Harbors. His satisfaction over making a sale turned to downright glee when he took the money from R. C. Bowen (right), president of the Bowen Motor Coaches. R. Mayo Bowen, banker, next to Fox, and County Judge Miller enjoyed the situation as the bus man gingerly paid his money to the railroad man. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 4, 1941.
