Description

The semifinals and final round of the Fort Worth district Golden Gloves will be held at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Before the match Dr. T. H. Cheatham is examining one of the top boxers, Andy Eagleton. The medical staff inspects all the boxers before they are cleared to step into the ring. In 1939, Eagleton won the district middleweight championship. He is hoping to repeat that success tonight.
