Description
The Fort Worth district Golden Gloves is being held at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. The winners of each weight class will go onto to represent Fort Worth in the state tournament. Competing left to right are Jose Andreas and George Cunningham. Andreas is a seventeen year-old flyweight from Mexico. Cunningham, of Polytechnic High School, landed plenty of punches including the left shown in the photograph. But it wasn't enough to take down Andreas.
