Description
Camp Wolters is hosting a farewell banquet in Mineral Wells, Texas for the officers of the Company B, 60th Infantry Training Battalion. In attendance left to right are Brigadier General William Hood Simpson, Captain Norman K. Jackson, and Lieutenant Colonel John R. Boatwright. General Simpson is the commander of Camp Wolters. He is dressed in a double breasted suit. Captain Jackson is the commanding officer of Company B. He is wearing a pinstripe suit. Lieutenant Colonel Boatwright commands the 60th Battalion. He wearing a light colored suit. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, June 5, 1941.
