Description

A banquet and dance were given at Stamford Saturday night for the 19 flying students who completed the first training period at Arledge-Stamford Field and will enter the basic air corps training school at Randolph Field for the second of the three stages leading to pilot ratings and commissions at second lieutenants. Miss Helen Rosenwasser, cowgirl sponsor at the Texas Cowboy Reunion one year, wore her cowgirl outfit to dance with Norvell O. Winnik, who hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Both are standing next to each other, posing for the camera. There is a table with chairs in the background.
