    Description

    Group of women who traveled by convoy to Camp Wolters at Mineral Wells, Texas, to attend a soldier dance. In and around and on the Jeep are Sergeant Oather Cunningham (the chauffeur), Private Walter Kina (standing at the far right), and Misses Jean Echols, Dorothy Ann Galloway, Elizabeth Haley, Jane Lewallen, Sue Page, Edith W. Arnold, Ann Westmore, Vernelle Kennedy, Pauline Pierson, Olene Durham, Yslita Riddel, Doris Newberry and Grace Pressley. The first five are standing left to right in front of the Jeep and the others are left to the right inside the army buggy. The military men are wearing their uniforms. Miss Echols is wearing a blouse and a skirt and is holding a handbag. Miss Galloway is wearing a solid-colored dress. Miss Haley is wearing a striped dress. Miss Lewallen is wearing a polka-dot dress. Miss Page is wearing a dress and a coat and is holding a purse.
