Six of the 36 women who went by bus to Camp Bowie at Brownwood, Texas, to attend a soldier dance. Leaning and looking out of the bus windows are, left to right, Misses Juanita Farmer, Ruth Montgomery, Virginia Davis (left window), and Emma Jo Small, Madalene Keagle and Georgene Bainard (right window). They are wearing sashes across their clothing that read, "Fort Worth."
