Description
The garden section of the Fort Worth Business and Professional Women's Club celebrated its first birthday with a flower show at Hotel Texas, using winning entries to decorate tables at the club's regular luncheon. Looking at some of the best arrangements are, left to right, Miss Lucie Lee Carley, luncheon chairman; Mrs. Gaither Miller, whose entry was a winner; Mrs. Paul V. Barmann, also a winner, and Mrs. Bert Barber, chairman of the garden group. Miss Carley is wearing a blouse, a polka-dot blazer with a matching skirt, and a hat. Mrs. Miller is wearing a floral print dress belted at the waist, a multi-strand necklace and a hat. Mrs. Barmann is wearing a a striped blouse, a blazer, skirt and a hat. Mrs. Barber is wearing a floral print dress and a hat with a flower pinned to it.
