Description

Seven new officers of the Cantorians, who were installed at a banquet at the Blackstone Hotel. Seated, on the front row, left to right, are Misses Ellen Jane Jackson, president, Elizabeth Gorden, second vice president, Betty Pecor, recording secretary, and Ann Richards, historian. Standing, back row, left to right, are Ed Walton, treasurer, Lewis Tandy, first vice president, and Carter Murphy, reporter. All three men are wearing suits. Miss Jackson is wearing a dress with a belt at the waist and a short coat. Miss Gorden is wearing a blouse, a skirt and a striped blazer. Miss Pecor is wearing a dress with ruffle detailing on the bodice and a coat. Miss Richards is wearing a dress and on her lap is a handbag.
