Among the first and youngest purchasers of a defense bond in Fort Worth, Texas, was Charles Oliver Bubar, 1-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. Bubar 4433 Foard Street. Charles is sitting on his father's lap as Miss Florence Scott, assistant secretary, delivers a $25 bond at the Mutual Building and Loan Association office. They are sitting at a desk. On the desk are various documents and an ashtray. Mr. Bubar is wearing a suit and Miss Scott is wearing a dress.
