Description
Attending the inaugural ceremonies for Doctor W. R. White as the seventh president of Hardin-Simmons University at Abilene, Texas, were Doctor John W. Raley, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, left, president of Oklahoma Baptist University, and his brother, First Lieutenant L. W. Raley, chaplain of the 180th Infantry, 45th Division, at Camp Barkeley. The two men are standing in front of a wall, facing each other and smiling. Dr. Raley is wearing a three-piece suit and Lieutenant Raley is wearing a military uniform.
