Leonard Roach, Masonic Home and School hurdler (far left), shown setting a new record of 15.2 seconds in the high hurdles in the regional high school track meet at Denton, Texas. Roach and four other athletes are shown in the midst of jumping over a row of wooden hurdles. Each of the runners are wearing running shorts and shoes. Roach and the athlete in the center are shirtless and the other three are wearing tank tops. Behind them, other rows of hurdles can be seen. At the far right is a chain link fence separating the bleachers from the track.
