New officers of the North Texas District, Texas State Teachers Association, elected at close of a convention. Left to right, Bob McCrady, Waxahachie, Texas, president; Avis Roberson, Fort Worth, Texas, retained as state executive committeeman; Miss Etta Ewing, Rio Vista, Texas, re-elected treasurer; Miss Wyline Wheeler, Sherman, Texas, secretary; and J. P. Buck, Collinsville, Texas, vice president. Both men are wearing suits with neckties, the women are wearing dresses and hats. Miss Ewing and Mr. Buck are wearing eyeglasses. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 20, 1941.
