    Description

    The "Boomps-a-Daisy" will be performed by these pupils of the Butcher School of Dancing at the Girls' Service League's annual charity ball at Hotel Texas. Rehearsing, left to right, are A. T. Lowery and Roberta Andrews, Jimmy Foster and Betty Dean Jenkins, and Paxton Moore and Kateva White. The couples on the left and right are facing each other and holding their palms together. The center couple, Jimmy Foster and Betty Dean Jenkins, are standing slightly ahead, facing straight on and holding hands. The three couples are standing in front of a window whose blinds are shut. There is a mirror to the right of the window on the back wall. The girls are wearing ball gowns. A. T. Lowery is wearing suit and Jimmy Foster and Paxton Moore are wearing shirts, trousers and blazers.
