Description
The Mesquite School float that rode through the parade at the Borden County 50th anniversary celebration. Standing on the float is Keva Lou Hays, dressed as the Statue of Liberty. Seven other children are seated on the float as well, which is decorated with thin, striped arches and banners. The banners read, "Education is the Key to Liberty" and "Mesquite." Keva is holding up a large key in her right hand.
