Description
Students at Texas Christian University assembled in their western gear for the dress rehearsal of the school's first annual Ranch Festival, Friday and Saturday, February 1-2. Left to right are gunslingers, Betty Simmons and Miss Margaret Helen Pyron. They are getting in a few practice swings as cowboys watch in the background. Betty and Margaret are both wearing a cowboy hat, blouse, vest, skirt and a holster at their hips. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 31, 1940.
