Mrs. Virginia Leberman, of Austin, Texas, left, and Mrs. Eva L. Briggs, of Detroit, Michigan, attending the joint convention of the Southwestern Photographers Association and the Texas Professional Photographers Association which opened at Hotel Texas. The two women are shown standing in front of a window with closed blinds. Mrs. Leberman is wearing a dark, short-sleeve dress with a crochet collar and Mrs. Briggs is wearing a blazer with a blouse underneath and a skirt. Pinned to her blouse is a brooch. Both women are also wearing hats and gloves. Mrs. Leberman's hat is wide and flat while Mrs. Briggs's hat is small and netted. Mrs. Briggs is holding up a piece of paper and Mrs. Leberman is carrying a purse. Mrs. Leberman is one of 17 artists in the United States who have won the master of photography degree awarded by the National Photographers Association. Mrs. Briggs is the only woman among the experts listed in the program for the convention; she will speak and give demonstrations during the meeting.
