Description
R. E. Joiner, left, of the Texas Power and Light Company, who paid 30 cents a pound for the grand champion pig shown by Mitchell Porter, shown at the right. The two men are kneeling behind the large pig. Mr. Joiner is wearing a zipped-up leather jacket and a pair of eyeglasses and Mr. Porter is wearing a dark suit jacket over a collared shirt. Both are also wearing brimmed hats. Mr. Porter is petting the pig. The ground is comprised of sticks, dirt and patches of grass.
