Brigadier General William Hood Simpson is being transferred to Camp Wolters in Mineral Wells, Texas where he will serve as commanding officer of the camp. He is shown posing with his mother, eighty-three-year-old mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Simpson. They are catching-up in the ranch house where General Simpson was raised. Mrs. Simpson is wearing a polka-dot dress. General Simpson is dressed in a double breasted three piece suit. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, March 23, 1941.
