    Description

    Troops from the 45th Infantry Division are arriving at Camp Barkeley, the new training facility near Abilene, Texas. Military trucks carried the division 230-miles from Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Washing the thick layer of mud from the wheels are, left to right, Privates Leo Jenkins and Fadin Turner. Both men are with Company M., 179th infantry from Mangum, Oklahoma. They are dressed in hats, coveralls, and work boots.
