Description
Camp Barkeley is the new military training facility near Abilene, Texas. The camp is opening their doors for the first time. Left to right are Private First Class James Allen and Sergeant Ben Paris. Both men are with Company C 180th Infantry and originally from Chilocco Indian School at Chilocco, Oklahoma. They are turning on the gas stove to warm up the barracks. Private Allen is wearing a button-up shirt and jeans. Sergeant Paris is dressed in a long-sleeve shirt and trousers. Bunks and bags are in the background.
