Mr. and Mrs. Clinton King, the former Mrs. Virginia Carroll Smith, were married Sunday in Weatherford, Texas. The couple are photographed arm-in-arm as they left the home of Mrs. W. P. McLean, 1501 Eight Avenue where they received congratulations on their surprise wedding. Mrs. King is wearing a knee-length fur coat and a hat, Mr. King is wearing a trench coat. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 29, 1940.
