Description
A ceremony is being held near Abilene, Texas to officially turn Camp Barkeley over to the military. The camp will serve as a training facility for the 45th Infantry Division, based out of Fort Sill, Oklahoma. James T. Taylor, of Fort Worth, Texas, is standing at the microphone. He is responding to the tributes paid to the builders by Abilene leaders. Mr. Taylor is dressed in double breasted, three-piece pinstripe suit. There is a crowd of people seated in the background.
