Preparing for the Golden Gloves State Tournament to be held in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum were, left to right, district team directors Fred Maley, of San Antonio, Texas, Jim Vinson, of Childress, Texas, and Bill (Tiny) Scurlock, of Beaumont, Texas. Maley and Scurlock are sitting at a table and Vinson is standing between them. All three men are wearing suits. Maley is also wearing a hat and Vinson is wearing eyeglasses.
