    Description

    Abilene, Texas played host to an array of military dignitaries at their annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet. Attending the banquet left to right are Colonel Rex G. Bolend, C. M. Caldwell, and Lieutenant Colonel Roy Kenny. The men are sitting at a table, listening to the principal speakers discuss the Army's work in Abilene. Colonel Bolend, of Fort Still, Oklahoma, is the surgeon for the 45th Infantry Division. He is dressed in his military uniform. Mr. Caldwell, is the director of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce. He is wearing a three piece suit. Colonel Kenny, is also with the 45th Division. He is dressed in his military uniform.
