Description
Miss Bobby Jo Sanford, Arlington Heights High School senior, looking at the Golden Gloves trophy which will go to the team winning the most fights in the state tournament. Fort Worth, Texas, won the team title in 1940, but yielded its trophy claims to Austin, Texas, and Stephenville, Texas. Amarillo, Texas, was the 1939 winner. Miss Sanford is wearing a sweater and a pleated skirt. She is also wearing a multi-strand pearl necklace and a charm bracelet on her right wrist.
