Description
The Girls Service League is holding an open house in the old Winfield Scott Home on Pennsylvania Avenue. The League recently purchased the property to use as a home for underprivileged girls. Attending the open house are five of the debutante group. They are, left to right, Martha Teas, Elizabeth Harrison, Josephine Kennady, Virginia Lucker, and Catherine Lehane Johnson. The girls are coming down the grand stairway, leading to the main reception room.
