Baseball player Debs Garms is shown at home with his family, Mrs. Garms and their son Davey. They live on a 276-acre farm in Texas. The family is relaxing on a floral print couch. Mr. Garms is a left-handed hitting third basemen. He spent four seasons with the St. Louis Browns, three seasons with the Boston Bees, and the 1940 season with the Pittsburgh Pirates. With the Pirates, Garms hit for a.355 average and won a batting title. He is dressed in a leather jacket, plaid shirt, and trousers. Mrs. Garms is wearing a floral dress and laughing at her son's antics. Davey, two year-old son, is dressed in a striped shirt and overalls. He is chewing on his father's pipe.
