    Major League Baseball players are visiting Hicks Airfield, a pilot training field near Saginaw, Texas. Discussing baseball left to right are Beverly Johnson and Tex Carlton. Mr. Johnson, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, is a cadet at Hicks Airfield. He is wearing his military uniform. Tex is a veteran, right-handed pitcher. His first seven years in baseball were split between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs. He will be attending camp with the Brooklyn Dodgers this season. He is wearing a dress shirt and a sports coat with a handkerchief in the pocket.
