Description

Major League Baseball players are visiting Hicks Airfield, a pilot training field near Saginaw, Texas. Left to right are Umpire Ziggy Sears and Captain James H. Price. Umpire Sears is accustomed to boos from the home crowd, but was pleasantly surprised by the cadets' cheers. He entertained the cadets with his inimitable baseball stories. He is dressed in a double breasted suit. Captain Price is shown listening to one of the fascinating stories. He is wearing his military uniform.
