Description
The 50th anniversary celebration and annual sales conference of The Axtell Company concluded with a banquet at Hotel Texas. Some of the officials in attendance were, left to right, standing, Herbert S. Axtell and Jay Axtell, and, seated, Fred W. Axtell, C. C. Mitchell and H. G. Cox. Herbert is the merchandising and advertising manager. Jay is a trustee. Fred is the manager of the sales branch at San Angelo, Texas. Mr. Mitchell is the general sales manager. Mr. Cox is the comptroller. All five men are wearing suits. On the dining table in the foreground are several cups, plates and utensils. Mr. Mitchell is lifting a cracker off a plate with his left hand.
