Description
Amateur boxers are preparing for the Golden Gloves District Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing in a practice round, left to right, are Wayne Penn and Red Bransom. They are two of the favorites in a featherweight division packed with talented young boxers. Bransom is pounding his opponent with a tough right. Penn, the veteran, is back on his heels as he anticipates another punch. Bransom went on to win the decision.
