Description
When Fort Worth joined the Nation in prayer Thursday in New Year's Day services at the Worth Theater. Congressman Fritz Lanham (at microphone) and four ministers who spoke at the prayer meeting. They are, left to right, Reverend L. D. Anderson, Pastor of First Christian Church; Reverend S. A. Barnes, superintendent of Fort Worth District Methodist Churches, and Reverend J. Frank Norris, pastor of First Baptist Church. The man at the very far left is Reverend James K. Thompson, who was not originally listed in the article. His position is unidentified at the time of this photograph, however he may have been involved at the Polytechnic Presbyterian Church. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 1, 1941.
