Description
Amateur boxers are competing in the Golden Gloves District Tournament at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. The 1941 Tournament will feature scores of new faces who will compete in the Class A division. This division is limited to boys with no previous Golden Gloves experience. Two such entrants are competing for the welterweight title. Squaring off, left to right, are Charles Keenum and Jack Brockman. With his forearm, Keenum is blocking a right hook from Brockman. The referee is standing against the rope in the corner at right.
