Description
Mary Jones, 18, took a gun away from a would-be robber. She and her fiance Truitt White, 20, were parked in a car when they spotted the assailant. Mr. White grappled with the man, causing him to drop his cap before fleeing into the darkness. Miss Jones is leaning on the door of her car. She is wearing a collared shirt, sweater, and a skirt. There is a house and a shed in the background. Written on the shed is "For Rent."
